DESCRIPTION:Bras for a Cause: Supporting Survivors & Raising Breast Cancer Awareness\nJoin AWAIC on Wednesday\, September 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for Bras for a Cause\, a community event supporting survivors of domestic violence and their families while raising awareness about breast health as we enter Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Action Month this October. \nHelp AWAIC provide essential resources to survivors by donating new bras and underwear\, and take an important step for your own health with a free mammogram through Providence Imaging Center’s Mobile Mammography Clinic\, available at AWAIC during the event. \nAre you a woman age 40 or older and due for your annual screening mammogram? Call Providence Imaging Center at (907) 212-3151 to schedule this important 20-minute test. Please call to pre-register prior to your appointment. \nTogether\, we can support survivors\, promote breast health and early detection\, and use the power of community to raise awareness and make a difference.
