DESCRIPTION:Join AWAIC for an evening of artistic inspiration\, connection\, and community at our Art Release Party on Friday\, April 3\, from 5–8 p.m. at Green Connection in Anchorage. This event is free and open to the public. \nThis special event celebrates a collection of custom works created by local artists\, made possible through the generous support of the Atwood Foundation. Each piece reflects the power of art to foster hope\, expression\, and healing\, while uplifting artists in our community and supporting AWAIC’s mission. \nGuests are invited to view and celebrate the artwork\, connect with fellow community members\, meet the artists\, enjoy light snacks\, and learn more about how creative partnerships help strengthen safety and stability for survivors of domestic violence in Alaska. Following this event\, all the completed pieces will be proudly displayed in the AWAIC Safe Shelter to help brighten the shared spaces for our survivors of domestic violence and their children. \nWe hope you’ll join us for an inspiring evening that honors art\, collaboration\, and the impact of community care.
