24 Hour Crisis & Support Line
Donate Items
When survivors arrive at AWAIC’s emergency shelter they often have few, if any, personal belongings. By donating essential items like clothing and hygiene items, you are helping survivors take their first steps toward a safer future!
Donation Guidelines
- We are accepting donations BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, Tuesday through Thursday, between 8am and 4pm at AWAIC (100 W. 13th Ave. in Anchorage).
- Unscheduled donation walk-ins will only be accepted when donating travel-sized items.
- We are able to accept up to two (2) kitchen-size (13 gallon) trash bags of donations per visit.
Request An Appointment
To request a donation drop-off appointment, please fill out this form and our team will contact you within 3-5 business days. If you prefer to make a donation appointment over the phone, please call AWAIC at
Please do not drop off donations outside the AWAIC building. This creates a safety concern for our residents and staff.
Amazon Wishlist
Please consider purchasing new clothing, toiletries, and other much-needed supplies from our Amazon Wishlist. These items are conveniently shipped directly to AWAIC from Amazon. The items marked “High Priority” are currently in high demand at the shelter.

High-Fashion or Formal Wear
