Visit AWAIC’s Purple Porta at the 2026 Alaska Run for Women

Join the community on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the University of Alaska Anchorage campus for the annual Alaska Run for Women. Each year, this run is a powerful day dedicated to supporting the fight against breast cancer and celebrating survivors across Alaska.
Whether you choose to register for the race, volunteer, cheer on participants, or explore the vendor booths and creative porta decorating competition, there are many ways to be part of this inspiring community event. Families, friends, and supporters of all ages are encouraged to attend.
While you’re there, be sure to stop by AWAIC’s purple porta to show your support for survivors of domestic violence and help raise awareness for safe, healthy relationships across Alaska.
