Monthly Giving With Anchor Alliance

Become an “anchor” for survivors of domestic violence by starting a monthly donation to AWAIC! Your ongoing donation will give AWAIC a steady, dependable source of funding year-round, allowing our case managers and advocates to act quickly to meet the most urgent needs of survivors. When you do, you’ll receive specialized outreach and survivor stories demonstrating how your support is
making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Donor Advised Funds (DAF)

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is one way many of our supporters plan their charitable giving. Often created with guidance from family members or financial advisors, a DAF allows donors to make a contribution, receive an immediate tax benefit, and recommend grants to nonprofits they care about over time.Funds in the account can be invested and grow tax-free, creating ongoing impact.

Payroll Deduction/Workplace Giving

Many employers offer Workplace Giving programs where you can allocate a portion of your salary for charitable donations.

Contact your Human Resources department to see if your employer offers payroll deductions.

Pick.Click.Give

By choosing AWAIC through Pick.Click.Give., you help fund individual case management for survivors of domestic violence. Your gift supports healing, safety, and long-term stability. It’s easy to add AWAIC to your Pick.Click.Give. donation during your PFD application January 1-March 31.

Legacy Giving & Estate Planning

You can leave a lasting legacy of philanthropy when you include AWAIC in your will or estate plan. Matching Gifts Through Your Employer

Honorary/Memorial Giving

Honorary and memorial gifts are a meaningful way to recognize a special person or commemorate a life. Donations may be made in honor or memory of someone through AWAIC’s online giving form—please include the individual’s name in the comments section—or by contacting us at 907-743-5704.

“In Lieu of Flowers” Giving Families and loved ones may choose to request donations to AWAIC in memory of someone special, in lieu of flowers. These gifts help support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault while honoring a loved one’s legacy.

Sample language: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of [NAME] to AWAIC. Donations can be made online; please include “In Memory of [NAME]” in the comments.

IRA, QCD and Other Assets

Many AWAIC supporters choose to give through gifts of personal property, investments, or real estate—options that can align with personal financial goals while creating lasting impact for survivors.

For donors age 70½ or older with IRAs, a qualified charitable distribution (also known as a charitable rollover) can be a tax-efficient way to support AWAIC.

Gifts in kind are non-cash donations of tangible property made to AWAIC. These may include items such as clothing, hygiene products, artwork, books, equipment, furnishings, vehicles, or electronics.
