Help Us Create a Community Symbol of Hope

Join AWAIC and fellow community members on October 4 at 11:00 a.m. as we come together to form a giant purple ribbon in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Help us demonstrate to survivors how large their community of support really is!

This free event is open to the public and will take place at Balto Seppala Park, 3360 Wisconsin Street, Anchorage, AK 99517. We encourage everyone to wear purple as we stand together in support of survivors of domestic violence and create a powerful symbol of hope, awareness, and a community free from violence.

AWAIC’s ANCHOR Alliance members will get an exclusive coffee and pastry lounge to mingle before and after the photo with each other and AWAIC Staff.
